  1. Dear Alison,

My deep, deep sympathy on the passing of your dear friend John Zdrazil. What a beautiful tribute to him and to your closeness. He sounds quite wonderful.

    1. You would’ve loved him, John. I guarantee it. I’m so grateful to have had his friendship for so long.

  2. I’m so sorry for your loss. Your words are such a powerful tribute and hit me in a soft spot. My Dad starts chemo today, and I’ve been thinking, as we rally around, how glad I am that we’re rallying, how sad I am that it took this to bring us together over the many miles and busy days. We’ve always been kind, but haven’t always found time. As you say, “We’re all out of time.” And now I wonder…perhaps the ultimate kindness is making time. I hope your memories of the times you made and had with your friend sustain and comfort you.
